First part of the web based series of videos documenting the 2012 End of the World Maya Rally where 16 overland rigs traverse the Mexican frontier in an unforgetable adventure.
Watch some of the Maya Rally volunteers help displaced children at the Boys Home in Irapuato, Mexico. Christian Pelletier coordinated with Katie Clancey of the Muskoka Foundation to allow for the rally teams to come in a week early so they could work with the children and their living space.
The start of the rally begins with 16 Overland adventure vehicles touring Guanajuato, Mexico and ends with an off road climb up a mountain over rough terrain to get a birds eye view of this historic city.
This is where the Maya Rally gets interesting. Follow along using the “End of the World Survival Guide” and see where some of the teams went to and the experiences they encountered along the way. Note that this is the first of two parts dedicated to the Survival Guide.
Here’s the final video installment for the Maya Rally web series. It’s been great fun participating and editing this amazing End of the World adventure in Mexico!
