1987 BMW 325i

This is a story of one man’s love for his car. David Duran has been driving his ’87 BMW 325i for the last 20 years, it’s his daily driver and his pride and joy. The E30 is considered by many as one of the finest BMW’s ever made and has a huge following in the car scene worldwide. Dave’s E30 is a classic example of keeping the dream alive, it looks as good today (if not better) than the day he got it and his dedication to the vehicle is quite humbling. Enjoy!

The film was shot by Frazer Spowart.

    • Classic Bimmer’s definitely have their attraction… I like the new body style ones as well, but the old ones will forever be timeless. Old school E30’s are definitely one of my favorite classics.

  1. David, I love your passion for your BMW 325i and absolutely share your points on the character thing.. it does say something about one’s character! It used to be one of my favorite cars when I was younger.
I drove an E30 318i and an E30 324td when I was younger (“leftovers” from the family, but I wasn’t complaining) – especially the latter one with its turbo diesel torque and 6-cilinder grunt was lovely to drive until it was stolen in front of my door with 180k miles on the clock.
I’m driving an E92 now but I adore the E30’s shape and handling!
This 325i shares the 2.5l engine with the BMW Z1. It’s one of the most typical, best and robust engines BMW made in the 80’s. Take good care of it!
